Nadal completed the career golden slam in 2010 when he was 24 (youngest ever) during the peak of men’s tennis
Djokovic completed the career grand slam in 2016 and the golden slam in 2024 when his main rivals and ATP tour had declined
Don’t be fooled by Djokovic’s hollow numbers
It’s pretty wild that Nadal has only played the Olympics once while healthy yet he’s won a singles gold medal. Djokovic has played the Olympics five times and all he has to show for it is a bronze medal.
Djokovic will go down as the spreadsheet GOAT but tennis history is remembered primarily by iconic moments and nobody in recent history has more iconic moments than Nadal.
We can go into the microcosms of it, but nothing Djokovic has done in this sport will be surpassed.
Nadal will always be my GOAT, but Djokovic will go down as the GOAT at rightly so.
Imagine being so soft that you have to report someone because your feelings got hurt. Not only that but imagine being proud of it too. That’s

for you though
It’s amazing how Rafa has managed to be the greatest tennis player ever while being such an anxious, nervous, person in a sport where there is so much pressure.
When Djokovic is injured, he’s running around like a rabbit and barely losing games. When Alcaraz is injured, he can barely move and is unable to win a game
Will be shocked if Rafa skips the Tour Finals this year. Possibly his best chance to finally win it and he should be healthy since he’s skipping Asia this year.

USTA doesn’t realize that Tommy Paul is arguably the most promising young American male. How he doesn’t get a wildcard into the USO is beyond me. Makes sense that American men’s tennis is wallowing in mediocrity rn.

Alcaraz is easily a better player than Djokovic and obviously infinitely more entertaining. Djokovic just has a much better serve which is why he’ll win
Nadal at the presser: "I played a bad match. He played a good match. At the end... that's it. I was not able to keep the high level long enough, he took the ball too many times very early."
🇨🇭 When Stan Wawrinka candidly revealed that he suffered a panic attack before the 2016 US Open Final Vs Novak Djokovic, and was close to retiring during the match:
"A lot of people are asking me how I was able to take the court, nonchalantly, when five minutes prior to that I
It’s unfortunate that much of the tennis media are casuals who have brainwashed people into thinking a number makes one player greater than another but real tennis fans are able to avoid getting caught up in numbers that don’t tell the whole story.
I know Medvedev is playing great but I’d say it’s a pretty good matchup for Rafa. Khachanov’s game would trouble Rafa more. Not sure why so many Rafa fans are so worried.

1. Couldn’t tell you what match that was
2. There’s no disputing that
3. No idea what that match was
4. Massively overrated because Federer was a grandpa
