I’m excited about many jobs being lost due to AI because AI already gives better answers than 80% of the licensed professionals with whom I interact—from attorneys and doctors and pharmacists to tutors and consultants and mortgage brokers. AI saves you so much time by helping you to become more well informed than many of the supposed experts. Yes, I’m concerned about students cheating, and people using AI to do their work for them. I am also excited about how much more productive I can become thanks to AI, and how AI will force professionals to step up and do a better job than they currently are doing.

Web Developer Perspective: The left has been wrong about EVERYTHING for the last 8 years. They have been wrong about Trump every step of the way too. I trust Trump and his team more with AI than anyone on the left. Just look at the marked turn towards the center of every tech company. Censorship on virtually all tech platforms in the USA has fallen to the side, if not been completely dismantled. Your movie analogy, like most arguments from the left, makes no sense: in no movie was Donald Trump the president. And in no movie was part of the team (Musk) leading one of the main AI companies. I believe you are being far too doom and gloom rather than seeing the great potential AI has. The impact it has had on society is amazing and has helped me to become more well informed on a plethora of topics. From helping me to find bugs in my code and helping me to better understand medication side effects to helping me better understand physics to helping me plan a potential real estate purchase in Italy, AI has saved me so much time and has allowed me to become better informed and more productive and more efficient. The left wants to regulate everything. That’s why DOGE was created—to STOP the over regulation and over spending in which the left repeatedly want to engage. Is there a risk AI could cause issues in the world? Sure. Should there be some regulatory framework? Perhaps. But not at the level you seem to be proposing.
