Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, in the Fifth Executive Committee Meeting of the Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Growth held in Qatar. The meeting marked a significant milestone with the inclusion of Qatar and Turkey in the partnership, alongside the announcement of new industrial projects valued at $2 billion. These initiatives span diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, healthy food production, biotechnology, electrical industries, and more, all aimed at advancing sustainable economic growth. The discussions focused on the role of CCUS technologies in achieving Net Zero by 2050, highlighting both opportunities and challenges across various sectors. The UAE reaffirmed its commitment to advancing sustainability in the industrial sector while preserving the environment and climate. The roadshow covered a range of case studies and an in-depth exploration of the initiatives launched by the Ministry to accelerate the adoption of advanced technology in the local industry.
