Stick and stones may break my bones but some find Twitter more offensive. Guns and knives will end my life but words will get me arrested.

These are YOUR words. While your investigation is going on I, along with many others hope you abide by the same rules and DO NOT cover ANY sporting event. Starting with the Scotland game this Tuesday.
@1Fubar
Fantastic discipline from the 2 officers. I couldn’t do that job, she’d have been told in no uncertain terms to leave me alone and go away pretty colourfully.
A fascinating exchange between
@PatricKielty
and
@Tommedian
last night.
Kielty brings the audience and presenter to an awkward silence after challenging the "Up the 'RA" culture that has emerged in Ireland.
Giving Jay Donnelly a “2nd chance” is one thing but making a cult hero out of a convicted sex offender really is something only a fan base like Glentoran is capable of. Shameless, sad, pathetic and embarrassing.

These were the days in the mid 90s as a teenager I’d tell my parents I was getting a lift but in reality I was walking to Windsor from East Belfast. Then, now, forever
@OfficialBlues
When I leave Windsor Park its easier for me to drive up Broadway and into North Belfast avoiding the Westlink. However, I wouldn’t be so stupid as to do it with a Red, White and Blue flag flying from my window.
20 years ago to the day
@irish_guards
lost their first men in the Iraq campaign. c/s13 was brutally engaged from the rear claiming the lives of LCpl Ian Malone from Dublin and Ppr Christopher Muzvuru from Zimbabwe as well as severely injuring others. A day I will never forget.
If McDaid signs I want the media team to do a video starting at Dee Street bridge, driving over the westlink, stopping for a pastie at Beatties before he’s paraded with a scarf and Linfield 🧢 on!

Chris has signed a 2️⃣ year contract and will officially become a Linfield player when the transfer windows opens 👀

since the Crues don’t seem to like money, content to see spectators of all clubs soaked and to reduce our own security costs give them the corner moving forward.
Treat them like they treat us.
The propaganda he’s peddled.
The money he has spent.
All for one Irish Cup (2 years ago) and one win in their last nine.
The anger and agony in his voice tonight was delicious.
Glentoran have hounded out much better men after delivering a lot more with a whole load less.
A career of obscurity awaits for Robertson back in Scotland with his dimwit friends As for Jack Scott he will look back in later life and realise what he threw away. No sympathy for either and kudos to Linfield for taking a zero tolerance approach.
Comfortable for
@OfficialBlues
that. Mulgrew, Millar exceptional and the young lads more than stuck it to their more experienced and costly assembled rivals.
@IrishUnity
Not one person underneath those pathetic banners really means that. Not one of them would even contemplate assisting with the housing and welfare of a genuine refugee.

We truly are spoilt as Linfield fans with these guys as part of our history.

I don’t see much difference in this “joke” compared to the “joke” you aimed at Dundee just a few days ago. As others have stated you can’t have it both ways. If you can’t take it when it comes back don’t dish it out.
Getting the nose to the line today will signal the end of a 10 year rollercoaster. Throughout most of the journey I had the team at
@ibroxrocks
keeping me believing and laughing along the way. To Mr Edgar and the guys, thank you.
@chris_sutton73
@5liveSport
That’s the thing. You’ve proven you can be a fair and impartial pundit down south for the BBC but an absolute weapon when discussing Scottish football on other platforms. That in itself makes you the clown you are.
Hard fought that today
@OfficialBlues
McWabb his normal, arrogant self with the whistle and Crusaders with an aerial assault not seen in Belfast since the Luftwaffe took out the Oval
4 clear with 12 to go!
Absolutely fabulous Linfield. And before the gullible amongst the Glentoran support listening to 🧢 the Blues were missing Hall, Quinn, Fallon, Millar and Stewart tonight. The Mad One must stay! No finer sight too watching that stand empty
It’s just as well Glentoran have me blocked because I’d be unbearable this evening! For the

time the sun is most definitely shining over Windsor Park.
11 years ago when life was much simpler, Windsor Park felt like home, Glentoran could remember a league winning team and Larne were playing on a muddy slope to 50 cousins.
@BBCSPORTNI
@Glentoran
Let’s not take away from Lyndon Kanes great run who after taking the ball of Burns went on to breeze past 4 full time professionals.
3 years for step one. 3 years of blowing unparalleled cash in the local game. 3 years of Mad Mick tweets. 3 years of Linfield titles. The only people who should be frightened of steps 2, 3 and 4 are his own fans.
@MickMcDermott
Your sidekick literally had to stuff brown envelopes in DMs direction after assaulting him at Seaview not long ago and you’ve a cheek to talk about doing deals. Keep em coming Michael. The manager of the most expensive squad ever assembled locally and look at the state of you 🤡
@OfficialBlues
3 seasons of CL money, money made from the likes of Hume and that’s now a forward line of 2 loans from Rangers and a kid from Knockbreda to replace Cooper, Waterworth and Lavery. I can’t believe I’ve written that!
I will tell my children of clean sweeps, all Ireland cup wins and a single goal away from Europa League qualification. Meanwhile in East Belfast they cling on to one game, in one season for one league. There isn’t even a comparison.
Remember the bounce of the ball that went over the bar on a dry, bumpy pitch at Warrenpoint the other year? Well Fluffys left foot here could be THE moment of luck that swings things.
3rd rate European competition clearly gets 3rd rate referees.
Ivo Torres of Luxembourg with one of the worst refereeing performances seen at Windsor Park in a long time which really is a remarkable achievement!
Every single one of us who served in Afghanistan left something behind. We can only hope that all those wanting to leave get out safely and all those that can’t are left in relative peace.
The comments this evening from
@RoyMcGIvern
@mulgrew22
and the manager summed this season up perfectly. You don’t get a transitional year at
@OfficialBlues
time for projects or the like. We as fans want shiny things waved at us and talking to be done on the pitch. Thank you blues
What have we learnt the past 24hrs in Whataboutery land?

If anyone thinks I’m going back in my mid 40s after 23 years service because the current crop of 18-24 yr olds can’t be arsed then you’ve another thing coming.
I see the Glenmen are out bumping their gums about the Prime Minister of a foreign country visiting Windsor Park today. The same Glenmen who celebrated the return of a known IRA sympathiser just a few short days ago. Mental cases!
Considering the amount Mad Mick has spent and the slabbering that has been done over there the fact Linfield leave disappointed today with a battered squad before the January window fills me with confidence.
@OfficialBlues
Gutting? You spelt embarrassing wrong. A full time team in extra time against part timers who could barely stand but still were first to every ball.
Just been to a football match that seen 3 red cards. 1 for a challenge which was a yellow at best, 1 for the aftermath and 1 for kicking the ball too hard. Then I seen our goalkeeper wiped out with a knee to the face that not only didn’t result in a card but the game didn’t stop.
In 36 years following
@OfficialBlues
that’s easily in the top 3 worst performances I’ve witnessed.
Still, at least I got to avail of the stadium redevelopments at that dump.
What has taken Larne to the next step and a deserved championship was the recruitment of Bonis last year, Millar at the start of the season and the 3 lads in January who have made significant impact. Meanwhile us bluemen have had to suffer numerous transfer windows of pragmatism
Linfield most effective striker this season and the owner of this beaut nowhere to be seen last night. Also the runs young Chris McKee makes but is never found is criminal. Im sure the 2 of them are as frustrated seeing thon 7ft joker on the pitch as the fans are.
Ive always been intrigued by GAA as a sport, hurling in particular as its a sport for madmen the speed bats and ball travel in the air. However, If this statement was changed from GAA to IFA and Irish to British I couldn't comprehend the tsunami of outrage those words would cause
A team without Shields, Cooper, Fallon, Mulgrew, McKee, McDaid, and those 2 no user junkies that got the boot the other week. May not have been pretty but the young lads have more than held their own. Well played Blues 👏👏👏
@writetodelight
@DavidGauke
As someone who has held a weapon in both Iraq and Afghanistan I can tell you that there was nothing theatrical about his tears or those that have been shed by many of us who served. Our hearts have been breaking at what has happened to those people.
David Healy urges Linfield supporters to buy the new ‘Tribute to the Double Winners’ brochure.
“I hope our supporters are buying their copy of the ‘Tribute to the Double Winners’ brochure. It’s an excellent publication packed with photos, features, interviews and..

Look at us arguing about Steven Gerrard dropping Daniel Candeias and Ryan Jack to change formation and play Defoe and Davis. Wasn’t that long ago we were watching Templeton and Black making way for Sandaza and Aird. 🙄🙄🙄
A huge well done to all the
@ibroxrocks
team. And a huge get it up ye to the likes of the Stewart, Spiers, English and the rest of the mainstream media. People like me want to hear about FOOTBALL, not the circus you freaks create on periphery.
@GerryAdamsSF
Considering the game was well over by the time you took this picture I suspect you may have already watched the coverage on the home sides national broadcaster before finding something else to be offended about. Get back in the kitchen.
Interesting to hear yesterday on sportsound how the Linfield players fell to their knees at the end of the game. They will have played 60 competitive games this year compared to Larne on 46 and Glentoran on 49.
These balloons haven’t won the league in 13 years and 🧢 has signed 42 (FOURTY TWO) players in just over 3 years but their important announcement this evening is rumoured to be about a star on a shirt.
Nothing wrong with the leader of a foreign country visiting the club. Whatever personal politics or POV are I’m glad he was treated with the same respect as any other dignitary.
