Ok guys, but with all due respect. How are you not prepared for Snake-Eyes at this point. It’s a little ridiculous to not have a well thought out plan when entering a tournament.
Dont get how people defend the game. As it stands right now we are getting an average gem income of 10 packs a month from ranked. At the pace of 2.4 UR per 10 packs you would be completing a staple playset every 3 months playing 2-3 hours a day. This game feels like it's in beta.
Maybe hot take but I think going back to old field spell rules would solve a lot of stuff in the game atm. Being able to have 2 field spells makes them both much stronger aswell as defeating their original purpose (and what makes them different from continous spells)
The next Forbidden & Limited List update will be coming in late August, so we can see the impact of The Infinite Forbidden on the game, before making any changes. We're excited to see everyone's Deck-building creativity on display once INFO is released!
Jokes aside, this format is absolutely unplayably bad. We need to ban multiple fire related cards (starting with promethean princess). The powerlevel is gonna become even stronger for the wcq formats unless something drastic is done about it
The invitational you got invited to (didnt qualify to and wasnt open to any of the competitive players) had better prizing given to all of the participants than any ycs or wcq event we have ever had. If you dont play competitive, please dont speak about the competitive game tyvm
4 ycses a year
average return of a box of dune is literally like 40€ if you open infinite amount
less regionals
no llds or equivalent
still no official sim for the yugioh tcg (MD is not tcg)
Doubling entry fee to ycses in exchange for FIVE more packs

Why is Tri-Brigade unhit after a full year of tier 1 competitive play?
I will never understand the "this deck is too fair" argument when it comes to the banlist. If a deck sees heavy competitive play it's never fair.
How are modern yugi players so obsessed with 3ofs they would just rather not side limited powercards? Like yeah we get it you like to save one second writing extra line on your decklist wtf
I opened my ycs prize support a couple days ago, and konami actually sent me fist of the gadget. What on earth is this? How is this allowed?
3 year old set with no value anywhere in it
Honestly worst gameplay experience at a ycs ever, went into time maybe 80% of my rounds while neither me or my opp slowplayed. fun deck tho
9-2 side event 7-3-1 main event
Just ur daily doomer tweet, but its something I feel like I'm forced to make because I feel Yu-gi-oh is in a particularly bad spot right now. At least for tcg.
It might be an open secret right now that a lot of what you might call "pro players" are quitting or losing interest 1/?
Deck was insane going first, but i underestimated the power of the format to hold back its push going 2nd. Dropped 5-3, 2-6 die rolls.
Goodluck to everyone still in! Hopefully a friend wins the entire thing :)
Kinda funny after all the fearmongering about colossus coming back, its done quite literally nothing in the competitive scene. Makes you wonder what else they could unban from the list without impact
Maybe controversial opinion but the worlds point system should either be completely reworked or removed. The fact that you can go to worlds just by living in a certain area is ridiculous. At the same time its basically impossible to go to worlds if you dont :(
I have a fun question that has been puzzling my testing group the past hour.
If your opponent banishes 6 off prosp, and you see 2 copies of Ash blossom in those mills. Is the chance they have it in their opening hand still 33%?
With solo mode and plat done there's literally no content in this game left to consume until further updates, bar community ran content ofc. This game feels like more of a beta than a full game for real. Hope new content arrives soon
The misconceptions about maxx is really over the roof.
Yes the card is good and keeps combo at bay
No, you do not immediately lose the moment its activated.
All control and most midrange would rather get hit by maxx than ash/veiler/imperm because it makes their plays go through.
Forgot to mention, they are even increasing the price of boxes. To buy a box locally if I want to support a store nearby it costs me around 100€
This game will die by greed, there's just no escape
I guess it is what it is. Not particularly mad about order since it trades 1 for 1 vs my deck at best, but the combination of it, ash and veiler was unfortunate.
Deck profile is coming up on emans channel later (Webcam quality though lmao)
Pretty funny that runick stuns wincon of skill drain synchro turn is just them trying to emulate the effects of mystic mine.
Can we perhaps ban fountain already? :)
Still no prizing for ycses, regionals or equivalent besides unsellable playmats
No promos worth money (even the coins are less value than the dices were by quite a margin, not to mention you literally dont use coins in this game)
You lose money winning regionals.

So are european ycses just permanently cancelled now?
A lot of people hopping to different tcgs, hosting fake events (opens) and worlds is at a very late date, and theres usually never a ycs before worlds.
Random showerthought but have you considered how bad the competitive side of the format would be without DPE/verte legal?
The engine just gives life to so many cool rogue picks to play. Without it the format would just be Lyrilusc and swordsoul. I hope it stays around.
If this means i can only use konami playmats, this is easily the worst change i have seen in konami policy of all time. I have not played on a rubber mat since like 2017
Attention Duelists,
For our European and Oceanic 2024 World Championship Qualifier events, we would like to give advance notice to a policy update. This pertains to the accessories that can be used in the Main Event and WQP Playoff.
Details here:
Got 2nd at the 3v3 LCS this weekend with an updated beetrooper list.
2nd gokipole was really cool and I never missed neptune or the counter trap.
Barrier is the card I was surprised of the most, it was incredible every time I drew it. Shoutout to Raph and Andy.
8-1 to 8-3 marincess list.
Favored vs runick kash dragons despia, but rikka and lab is really rough. I fucked up on bubble vs earth machine by banishing my only name with reef and didnt draw any others for the rest of the game. ggs.
@FarfaYGO
Thank you king. I wasn't able to tune into the stream much, but when I did you guys provided top tier commentary.
I don't know why the yu-gi-oh community are such defeatists who think they need every expensive card to play the game. Most of those give marginal advantage at best.
@House_of_Champs
This is genuinely depressing. The stuff side deck has done for us as a community (especially during covid) is tremendous, and this is how they are being repaid? Its just sad man
True Man Show Yu-Gi-Oh (thread) :
Après plusieurs années dans le jeu et surtout dans la compétition, je suis arrivé à une conclusion limpide : tout est truqué de A à Z. Au niveau compétitif. Et les "gros" joueurs ont évidemment une attitude de connivence avec eux. 1/19
The direction konami (honestly primarily europe) has taken for so long is getting almost unbearable. If this goes on people (or at least me) will just be forced to quit.
Not my usual post, but current yugioh definitely gets fun in how often you can consistently win. Started 2 days ago for fun and got 1st in rated going 49-2 in matches
For how bad people say current format is (it really isnt) this is a new record for me at least
Lost in top 32 to Tri lyrilusc. I lost roll, my g1 hand only had 1 ash vs Warbler celest desires and my g2 hand was literally nib + enforcer vs talents 5 extenders. This game is seriously ass when these combo decks exists. Where is maxx when you need it???
Ever walked 40 minutes in the cold winter to get that one specific rare/common you need for your strategy the day before an event?
It is a special kind of feeling, I'm blessed to have friends around to help when i'm out of luck 🙏
Good luck on the Remote YCS tomorrow!
In honour of Kazuki Takahashi. I’m changing my profile picture to my favourite yugioh card for a week.
If you would like to participate, change it to your favourite card and pass it on.
Oh yeah another fun thing.
The judge comp EV of judging an event for 2 days is approximately 30-40 times higher than top 32ing a 2500 people ycs.
They pay more for one judge than they do for the entire top cut (barring prize cards)
Much like Jesse, i'm proud to announce im going to worlds representing master duel Europe together with
@BohdanTemnyk
and lsk. Thank you to lsk for choosing us and we hope to not dissapoint. 🙏
Went 13-1 with this marincess list this weekend to win a giant card, an oversized card and an unsanctioned swedish event at the size of a regional. Ratios felt good, 2 gozen is funny but it worked out.
Bonus points for anyone able to find out which sea creature is which marincess
Top 8 swedish nats:
3 Kash
2 Superheavy samurai (1 gimmick puppet 1 sage de fleur)
2 Furniture labrynth
1 Marincess
im in t8 vs kash tomorrow. wish me luck
