A loose dog that had been muzzled and wandering the streets of Rancho Santa Margarita for three days was safely captured today by Mission Viejo Animal Services Officers.

Last night neighbors awoke to the sound of fire and explosions coming from a nearby house in Mission Viejo at 4 in the morning.
We received multiple 911 calls and arrived on-scene to find fire threatening the 2 adjacent homes. >>>>>
Today, 2 different parties reported coyote bites to a human. MV Animal Services is working with the Department of Fish & Wildlife on this matter and a section of Jeronimo Open Space has been closed. Please be aware and vigilant when you are out where wildlife is prevalent.
