Brilliant news! We won the Primary School Big Hog friendly Litter pick challenge for the 3rd year in a row! 213 volunteers who collected 50.5 bags of litter in 2024. This is less than last year, making the school grounds safer for hedgehogs and other wildlife as time goes on!🦔

I had some pupils ask if they could do some sewing during their Celebrate 28 time today. I loved that they enjoyed it that much ☺️
As part of their WW2 topic, P7A were looking at rationing and the “Make do and Mend” campaign in order to preserve clothing during the war, so we had a shot at it ourselves and learned how to sew two pieces of cloth together! #ConfidentIndividuals

The rain was not ideal but always a great time with @KidsGoneWildUK ☺️ Proud moment for me too when I lit my own fire for the first time 😅
P7A have absolutely loved their sessions with Rob from @KidsGoneWildUK. We had our last adventure today where we lit fires and made s’mores 🔥 It took a lot of resilience to get those fires going in the rain, but we managed! #OutdoorLearning #Resilience #SuccessfulLearners

P7A love a Tuesday with @KidsGoneWildUK, even when we can’t go outside! We used what we had to create survival dens and made sure we had food, water, fire and shelter.

It’s absolutely insane how quickly she can put these together! So creative 👏🏼
An amazingly creative pupil in P7A made these dragons from paper and some tape! She even installed a torch to make the eyes light up. Super glad she brought them in to show us! 🐉 #ExpressiveArts

Back to school with a bang! A particularly interesting day with a gift of tayto and @missgorman_ coming into class to return the spatula she stole from my house during the summer. There were lots of confused faces! 😅
