Our final TRG Maths Hub session of the year is complete! We explored the NCETM Mathematical Learning Behaviours and took time to reflect on the strengths and areas for development within our schools. Then celebrated the incredible impact we’ve made over the year. @SYMathsHub

In our fifth Teacher Work Group this morning, we explored the concepts of representation and structure. We watched example lessons and discussed how we can support staff in our schools to make intentional choices that reveal mathematical structure effectively. @SYMathsHub

In our session 3, we explored the materials available to support planning maths lessons and focused on breaking learning into small, manageable steps to help children succeed. Looking forward to seeing this put into action! 💥@MathsHubs @SYMathsHub

In our second Teacher Work Group, we explored the concept of mathematical thinking, observed Mastering Numbers in Y1 and Y4 and thought about how it can be applied in the classroom. @SYMathsHub #developingwork
