In other news Today we had our Xmas Factor @airthprimary hosted and put together by the lovely P7s and @MissDalyAPS! Some great talent from all across the school and 2 P6 pupils also managed to win 3rd place! Well done to everyone who took part, so much talent in our school!

Merry Christmas from P6! This week we danced the afternoon away at our Christmas party, enjoyed a round up of 2024 in our festive quiz, learned some Spanish Christmas word with our search around the school. We ever made time to make hot chocolate in class! 🎄🕺🏼🍫❤️ @airthprimary

P6 Snapshot We had loads of time practising our Scottish country dances with P7 and decorating our Christmas tree. We also wrote information reports about pandas and recapped some place value.@LHSLanguages invited us along for their S1 languages nativity! @airthprimary 🎄🎉☺️

P6 Snapshot 📸 In art we learned about the colour wheel and complimentary colours. We worked with P1 buddies to draw book covers. We joined a live assembly discussing UNCRC and climate change. We tried something new with maths stations to help calculate change! 🤩😊 @airthprimary

P6 Snapshot 📸 Loads going on this week! We had out first outdoor trip with @MrsGallAPS. We had Free Writing Friday with some Autumn music inspiration. Had a nice time reading for enjoyment in the library and finished the week off with some Zumba in P.E. 🏃♀️📖✍️😊 @airthprimary

P6 Snapshot 📸 Another busy week! We looked at a new phoneme (ph- f) in spelling, had a topical talk about the recent US Election, worked around school in our solar system search, learning new facts about planets. We even did some group balances in P.E! 👽🤸♂️🤓 @airthprimary

P6 Snapshot What a fabulous first week back! We discovered Space by looking at planets in the solar system and showing our fact files to P1. Firefighter's spoke to us about bonfire safety. We had some Halloween fun creating some chemical reation 'potions'! @airthprimary

@kabercrombie_ @DigiLearnFalk @FCProbSupport @quizizz The video recording was a popular one. They had to explain whether they thought a circle had one or no sides. Mastery Peak was another one they liked with the mini games in it. Can’t wait to use it again next week for a full lesson! Thanks so much to the team again for sharing 😊

P6 Snapshot📸 We recapped our 2D shape properties and used our knowledge to create shape art. We improved our listening skills by drawing out descriptions to create monsters. In science we investigated the difference between static and current electricity! 👩🏽🔬🎧😊 @airthprimary

P6 Snapshot 📸 Writing was a focus this week. We used our knowledge of ‘Holes’ to help us describe Mr Sir. We did procedural writing and tried to get into order of how to brush your teeth. We also helped P1 take turns started our Leadership award! 😊@airthprimary
