Congratulations to President-Elect @JoeBiden on his election victory Zimbabwe hopes to continue finding common ground, worthwhile and mutual alliances with the American people.

All we ask is that Zimbabwe is given the freedom as a sovereign nation to achieve its full potential. We want to be friends & allies with your country. You may want sanctions to be targeted, but the reality is that all Zimbabweans are negatively impacted.

I welcome your commitment to continue the UK's dialogue with Zimbabwe so that we can find opportunities to develop and trade together.

As l have always said, Zimbabwe must be a friend to everyone and an enemy to no one. We have made substantial strides in reengaging with the international community. Our hope is that the removal of sanctions will only be the next step in fostering our relationship with the world.

To members of the international community, let me say this. We ask for the removal of sanctions not out of anger or animosity, but with the knowledge that with sanctions removed Zimbabwe can achieve its full potential. #ZimSanctionsMustGo

The African Union supports the removal of sanctions. The SADC supports the removal of sanctions. The UN Secretary-General supports the removal of sanctions. Why can't you? #ZimSanctionsMustGo

#Zim on the verge of making pan-African trade history as Parliament has approved the ratification of the agreement establishing a Tripartite Free Trade Area among the COMESA, the Eastern African Community & SADC. The agreement is meant to promote trade within our regional blocs.

This is a huge step for Zimbabwe's reengagement efforts. The signing of this partnership will undoubtedly bring increased trade and investment to Zimbabwe.

Today I received a special message for Zimbabwe from our close ally and friend Russian Federation President, H.E Vladimir Putin to his counterpart H.E @edmnangagwa. Efforts are underway to accelerate our economic partnership with Russia.

"I urge our neighbours and partners in SADC to consider Zimbabwe as the logical regional hub for energy and power distribution. When our region works together, all member states prosper"

The new dispensation under H.E @edmnangagwa is determined to play a positive role in the globalized world. Zimbabwe is always welcome to new trade and investment opportunities. Today's US$58 million agriculture investment is a vital step in the mordenizing of Zim agriculture
