@_amitbehere He is intellectually shallow so he comes out quite relatable to his audience. Their frequency matches perfectly. He is a fine example of where Indian society is at this point.

In India when I bought my Hyundai venue, it took me over 2mnths and a visit to 5-6 dealers and a test drive. When I moved here I wanted to buy a Toyota RAV4 but took a detour to Mazda and bought a Mazda CX50 I can't explain this phenomenon, I am the same person in India or the US
Low income high income inequality countries like India by default are very low trust societies. Would love to see the market research behind this. In a country like India, at least I don’t see a lot of people ordering cars online.

If someone is proselytizing on the street, I can simply walk away. But there’s nowhere to go when it happens on a flight. This is nothing but public harassment.

INC reportedly got more votes than BJP’s winning margin against AAP in 10 seats. Had it been any other party, many anti-BJP folks would’ve accused them of ‘vote-cutting’ & being a ‘B-team’ for merely exercising its democratic right to contest. Why doesn’t this apply to INC?

Not like China. We have internalized Western propaganda about China and one-party rule rather than objectively looking at and understanding their political system. It took me by surprise to know that the Chinese economy is the most decentralized in the world.
Indians r slowly pushing d country towards one party domination. And not just electorally. They r happy to have one party control all tools of democracy: judiciary, administration, election commission, media... They are conflating one party with the nation. Quite like China, no?

I observed in BJPs first term that the success of BJP is not just the rise of Hindutva but also making the Cong party and their rule illegitimate in the eyes of the people. If not Modi then who? It takes away any incentive from people to move out from BJP folds

@pinkpaisley3 I don't know how much this is in play but BJP voter list manipulation is creating resent among those who voted for BJP in the past but are no longer voting for it. For mass movement, you need a leader to emerge who people can follow. Gandhi's Scion cannot do it.
