Mineke Foundation continues the work Dabwe Wiah & his Dutch wife Mineke Muilerman started. They taught agriculture & ran a high-quality school, using profits to support families & develop the community. On Nov 2. 1992, Charles Taylor's rebels abducted Mineke. She remains missing.

Wonderful news: the Damiefa School, once operated by our founder's parents, will reopen! Major thanks to @StichtingPharus, who will support our efforts to renovate and reopen it. Renovations have started already, we hope to reopen the school later this year!

You can't come to us? We come to you! Due to #COVID19 our Social Clubs' members can't gather in huge numbers. But this won't stop us from educating the kids! We've we have started a mobile library learning program. We take the books to the kids' homes and teach them.
