@kr00tmantech @SonOfATech @BrandonCoin1 I was torn between this and an Epyc 7k62. The 7k62 is probably a much better deal for mining only if you buy the super micro H11SSL , but if you want a mobo that has PCIE gen 4 then an H12SSL is gonna cost ya double for that mobo.

@MrGhostHawk Yes excellent option. I have a 5900x paired with a 4070 as well. Another excellent option on the Epyc side is the 7k62. Around $300... 48c/96t

This BD795M from minisforum looks like an impressive alternative for what I spent. ($383) But I bought the last one from them on Newegg at that price. I've been emailing their sales people for a discount for the community but they just want to sell in bulk to me 😟. Their site shows like $463 but I have a code for $399. Not sure how long it will stay valid though

@LegendaryKripto You can use coolers for LGA1700. I've used this cooler multiple times. It's pretty large and if you want to use the rgb, just know it's 3 pin 5v.

😆 X should be required to have a warning at 10 minute intervals like: Have you checked your heartrate...are you sure you want to send that message... will posting this cause you more anguish... have you done those chores you promised to do... would you like to re-word that so you dont regret it later....etc

I've scoured to the ends of the earth in search of deals... daily. I can't find a better build NEW for a better price...and used still isn't quite there either. Is the resale audience wider for a traditional 7950x....sure...but the resale value of what I have is even higher than what I bought it for...so I think I will be OK 👍

@ROWEBOT3339 This is just software wattage on the CPU, I will be putting a watt meter on it for 30 days once I throw a GPU in it for Salad or Vast...after some other tests 👍
