@Louismuzong @LatinXChem Thank you very much for your interest in our work. For any collaboration I need first to check with my supervisor. However in this case, I believe that he and his co-workers are already dealing with QM calculations, for these as well as other compounds we used to synthesized.

@Louismuzong @bugarime @LatinXChem We also used acid catalysts in some reactions for comparison, but we did not observe significant results in yields only in the optimization of the reaction time.

@Louismuzong @bugarime @LatinXChem When we used water and water / ethanol as solvents, we observe that the synthesis ends in approximately 4-5h. This is because the reaction products are less soluble than in acetonitrile and therefore they precipitate rapidly, stopping or slowing down the reaction.

@Louismuzong @bugarime @LatinXChem Benzimidazoles have a wide spectrum of applications. In our work, they were evaluated against strains of microorganisms GRAM (-) and GRAM (+), obtaining good results in inhibiting the growth of microorganisms.
