I’ve had a syncing mishap with my latest Wicked Harvest chapter, and I won’t know if it’s lost completely until I get home from work 😭.

The possessive sight hits Soap like a gunshot, and looking at the lidded hunger lurking in Ghost’s eyes, he wonders how he ever thought he could tame Ghost’s desire. Or why he’d even wanted to. Ghost smiles, small but victorious thing, and says, “I never agreed to it, did I?”.

“What happened to keeping things… private,” he gasps as Ghost’s huge arms swallow him from behind, trapping him in place in front of their reflection. Ghost noses his mussed hair as his huge hand comes up to curl loosely across the marred curve of Soap’s throat.

Mottled blue and purple, the shape of his mouth practically carved into every bare inch of Soap’s skin. Soap inspects himself in Ghost’s mirror the morning after, secretly pleased yet dismayed at the evidence of Ghost’s ownership plastered across his skin.

Not letting him come until he cries for Ghost, wringing out his orgasm over and over again until his name is practically ripped from his throat. And Ghost mauls his skin with his crooked, imperfect smile, sinking his maw over his neck like a predator would prey, leaving it -.

Ghost gets worse, if anything. Soap doesn’t even realise Ghost’s doing the exact opposite of what they agreed until much later. He fucks him in private, of course, but he seems hellbent on making sure everyone on base bloody hears it now – edging Soap ‘til he’s begging –.

“Good,” Soap manages, eyeing the empty hallway around them. “Glad we agree, then.” . He waits for Ghost to let go, anyone could see them after all. He clears his throat pointedly, and Ghost finally lets go. If Soap thinks that’s the end of it, he’s sorely mistaken.

He beams, then frowns, because by ‘familiar’, does he mean aware of the rules, or has he been screwing his subordinates with such regularity that he’s not concerned with the repercussions –. Twin hands coil around Soap’s frowning face, and he blinks at Ghost sheepishly.

“Trouble.” Ghost says it slowly like he’s tasting the concept for the first time. “Aye, y’know, fraternisation regs–“. Ghost’s eyes crinkle a little at that, and the pit of anxiety that’s been marinating in Soap’s gut dissipates in an instant. “I’m familiar.”.

“I’m not ashamed,” Soap says quickly, unnerved by Ghost’s implacable non-reaction. “Just – don’t want you, or er, us, getting in trouble.” . He’s not sure why he’s nervous, it’s not like he’s suggesting they stop altogether. Just cool things down in public.
