The valentines dance will start and end 30 minutes later than the original start time. Middle school students should be dropped off at door F in the high school lot. Intermediate School pick up will be in the circle drive.

Mrs. Potter’s class recently completed many PLTW activities. They were able to learn about the structure and function of different body parts and organs. The students were also able to learn how doctors can repair broken bones.

Mrs. Kurtz's class just wrapped up a PLTW unit on structure and function! Students explored how structures are built and why some structures last while others don’t.

This week MES did superhero day and 80's day in celebration of National School Counselors Week. We thank Sara Hill and Michelle McKittrick for all that they do for MES!

MES students in grades 2-4 have recently received special presentations from MHS + Career Center students. The older students taught the younger students about germs, proper handwashing, and the benefits of exercising. Great job to our MHS students!

Congratulations to Milan Boys Wrestling Sectional Champions Matthew Baylor, Kaleb Wilburn and Zane Richardson. Milan will also be sending six others to Regionals next weekend in Richmond: C Gilb, H Poole, D Engle, K McClellan, C Moore and C Bets. Great job team!

MES just completed the Great Kindness Challenge along with millions of other students! The students pictured were caught being kind, entered into a drawing, and were picked to win prizes. Congratulations to all winners! We should all spread kindness like confetti. 🎉

🩷MES welcomed Kayla to where she started her education. She was greeted with cheers. She educated our students on wrestling. She explained her final match as the students watched all 3 periods and saw her end with a PIN and a WIN! She even posed with her former teachers.

Friday, January 24th is Kayla Roell Day in honor of her recent State Championship! We're having a pink spirit day and we will recognize Kayla during the boys varsity basketball game that evening. Wear your finest pink attire and come on out the the basketball game !
