As always, two things can be true at once. Elon can be mindful of his brand—just like you or me—while also making decisions that align with voters. The backlash we’re seeing with DOGE feels very similar to the early days of several of his ventures. At first, Tesla and SpaceX were seen as his downfall—people said he would fail and lose everything. When he bought Twitter and let everyone go, the narrative was that he would destroy it. Yet now, look at the EBITDA. In many ways, his purchase and restructuring of Twitter feel the most similar to what’s happening now. But as I write this, I have to ask: If someone is truly concerned about their brand, do they get involved in politics? And do they publicly back Trump when, at the time, that move was widely considered brand suicide? Lastly—and I know you know this—many people have been more powerful than the President for a very long time. That’s nothing new.

@mikemo You’re onto something big! Just need to make the rounds shorter and open up the option to buy teams! 😜

Fee capture drives the majority of firms to focus on AUM over Cash on Cash. I think it’s short sided, but also understand the need for revenue during the early stages of a business. What I’ve learned, focus on delivering for the investor. The revenue always follows performance!

A Ponzi scheme is a scam that pays old investors with new investors’ money until it collapses. Below is what happens when debt is cheap and an asset class becomes an influencer trend.
Your AirBnB 'empire' is a ponzi scheme: • Bought at peak prices • Using HELOC money • Negative cash flow • Praying for appreciation • Competing with hotels • Fighting with neighbors • Working harder than a W2 But sure, tell me more about your 'passive income' journey..

@chernobelskiy 506c for us mainly because I wanted to market offerings through social. If you’re going down this path, just be aware… regulation is heavy on what you can and can’t say.
