Utah State is expected to name a new head coach in the next week. Sources indicate they are down to four finalists. BYU DC Jay Hill is one of them. A current Mountain West head coach is another finalist and at least one more MW HC interviewed for the job.

Update on the Utah State job. Although info from sources is as of Thursday so this could be outdated by now. Jay Hill sounds like the top target & asked for financial commitments for facility upgrades, renewed NIL emphasis, operational and staffing budgets.

I found this interesting. Travis Hunter 2023 stats:.9 games: 721 yards 5TDs, 30 tackles 3 INTs. Travis Hunter 2024 stats:.10 games 911 yards 9 TDs, 24 tackles 3 INTs. I know he missed games last year due to an injury, but was he ever in the Heisman discussion last year?.
