Today I lost my best friend of the past 12 years. Cancer sucks, it took him way too soon. He never got a chance to enjoy a real day at work here at the stadium and be by my side. I will miss him every day. I love ya pup!

Tarps off a day early. Double mow and a .50 of rain over the weekend has us ready for 2 games of the Concacaf W Gold Cup semi finals on Wednesday. Starting to see wear from the team’s warm up areas but will fill in nicely one the latitude gets going.

After sod being down for a month it was time to verticut 2x, scalp from .500 down to aerate and topdress 50 tons. Great recovery from Friday to Tuesday.

Here is an awesome aerial shot of Snapdragon Stadium ahead of yesterday's match. I am amazed at the amount of effort the crew puts in every day, enjoying themselves, especially on days like today. We are back at it this morning to prepare for Friday's NWSL Match.

Soccer tomorrow followed by another rugby game Sunday. We made it through the first rugby game with a few scars but field held up well.

5 days post sod install. Top-dressed with two separate applications of 25 tons each and brushed in. We are going to let it soak up the sunshine this weekend and cover it next week for a few days. 14 days till our first game on the field.

Bermuda has slowed considerably and we are waiting on the rye to get going. Grow covers all week before the NWSL Championship game in 6days

Rain tarps came off this morning after we got an inch of rain overnight.
Now we have 6 games in 6 days before we can take a nice 10 day break & put grow tarps over the field.
Shoutout to the crew for all their hard work to get us to this point.

After heading out at midnight, the crew returned at 6am to keep putting in as much effort as possible for the NWSL game today.Unfortunately, we'll find ourselves doing this again next weekend.
For now, we're powered up with Starbucks, breakfast burritos, and donuts!

14 hours from a soccer pitch to a rugby pitch. I cannot thank the team here enough for the time and dedication it takes to pull these flips on tight schedules happens.
We have a busy weekend ahead of us, with a Wave game tonight at 7 pm, followed by a Legion Rugby match at 7pm tomorrow. Deep time Saturday night followed by dryject at 6 am on Sunday.
It will be a late night early morning with a flip between sports. Crew is ready to go!

12 hours later after an SDSU women’s lacrosse victory to the first ever outdoor box lacrosse game for the San Diego Seals. Loadout begins immediately after box lacrosse for two more lacrosse games Sunday.

Over the past two weeks the field has gotten a .5# of N and two different topdressing applications. First one at 25 tons second one got 50 tons. First foliar app is scheduled for late next week.

Someone asked me how the field was doing after hosting a weekend of football and rugby games in less than 24 hours, so I decided to take a quick video for them. The field between our hashes held up pretty well! We were actually quite impressed by how it managed the use this week.

Concert was loaded out and off the field at noon and flooring crew finished around 3pm.

Pulled grow covers back today to mow, spray and get a few paint lines down before covering the field again. Nice seeing Latitude roots pushing after 7 days on the ground even though May grey is keeping sunlight minimal. Still working in our 50 tons of topdressing sand.
