Brandon- I recently tasted a $32 cab blend that tastes like triple the price. I tasted it at a wedding at the Four Seasons in Austin- Hedges estate red blend 2020 - Red Mountain Washington State. It was easy drinking, complex and dintinctive. Enjoy.

I had a very nice Super Tuscan tonight from an outstanding winery, their entry level offering. Even better it's $25-$30 a bottle. Drink with Italian food (I had Pesto Pasta Chicken) try the 2018 or 2019. Enjoy.

When I jokingly defend my only hobby (Research, buying & consuming beautiful Napa cabs) I normally remind folks that- Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine. However, 1 Timothy 5:23 says "Stop drinking only water,and use a little wine ..." Sounds like a command to me.

Following up on the prior post- I tried the Silver Oak Alexander valley 2018 tonight-also excellent-( bought at HEB 20% off on cabs sale) so 2018 and 2019 are both very good- red meat not necessary to enjoy.

Here is a wine secret-please don't tell anyone- if you are drinking a red wine that has rough edges (you didn't pay much for it) put in 2 drops of stevia or a little powder sweetner- it will smooth out those edges. Try it!!
