25 years ago today, I began my career in the wide world of radio when I walked into the studios of WBEV-AM 1430 in Beaver Dam, WI, for my first day on the air! I started as a morning news anchor, but before long, I switched to sports play-by-play where I remain to this day.

The @BDBeavers_Bball girls last loss to a team from Wisconsin was on 3/5/16 when they fell in overtime to Green Bay Notre Dame. That was 1,092 days ago! The long-awaited rematch is today when the Golden Beavers face the Tritons in the sectional final at Kaukauna. Tip off at 1:00.

There is a tradition at the Naples Holiday Shootout. The logos of all the teams are put on the wall in the gym. As teams start losing, their logo is taken down, so that by the last day, only a few remain. As we go to the final day, @BDBeavers_Bball is “still on the wall!”
