One day I came home from work to find the carbon monoxide monitor on the front lawn. My son was in the house. The instructions were if alarm sounds move to an open space. So when it went off he moved the alarm to an open space and went back in.

Sad to learn of the passing of Malcolm Beddoes today. I was the picket coordinator for the CSEU unions during the 1988 strike for 12 weeks at VSEL shipyard in Barrow an he and his 3 sons with us every day. A great Socialist and trade Union shop steward. Go raibh a anam go deo.

@PolitlcsUK @YouGov No one has a clue where it is on a map. Couldn't name the ocean it is sat in, what the relationship to the UK it has or the history of the British involvement in the are has been. Mind, no one knew where the Falklands were either before we sent a task force.

Improved punctuality of the service, increased routes and improved clean air performance of the fleet, increased investment in electric buses. Got to love public control of the bus network. Something every area in the UK deserves.
