If they would pour some money into the aging stadium I’d agree. But of the major bowl games, the stadium is by far the worst for the fans that attend the games
I think we will land arguably the best center in the country in Parker Brailsford via the portal in the next few days. That should start healing our portal wounds
A bit surprised but Bama has stepped up big time in the NIL game for Jabbar Muhhamad. Looks like a decision will come shortly between Texas and Bama. May not visit the Ducks.
To give an idea of how far down Bama is with NIL. Ohio State has spent $13M on the transfer portal this year alone. Alabama has an entire NIL budget of $15M for everyone
A little background in the WHY of Nick Saban and his comments last night. A top player in the state of Alabama in the '23 cycle was offered a substantial amount from TAM and has asked Bama to match it. He was long thought to be a Bama lock.
Can send cards and well wishes to:

In a perfect world, Harbaugh leaves for NFL and Brian Kelly takes over there. Wouod open up both Michigan’s and LSU portals. See if we can get back to even with this portal
I personally hate LSU more than Auburn or Tennessee. Whiniest fanbase. Before the game they will brag about how they gonna kill Bama. After the game we are gonna get 30 screenshots of what they think are penalties and complain about refs after they lose to Bama
Bond is going to be a problem for opposing defenses. He along with Earle and Harrell getting healthy the speed on the outside will be a huge difference in November
Sark is going to have a hard time at Texas if he takes orders from their boosters on things like assistant coaches. Absolutely embarrassingly unprofessional what he did to Stoops.
Saban fought hard to keep Golding from leaving for Texas. Texas has moved on to other targets. Important to note that Golding has a very close relationship with Karl Scott. The move to keep Golding likely helps keep Scott as well.
Alabama is working on a plan to reward academic incentives via NIL to all scholarship athletes. As long as scholarship athletes stay academically eligible they will receive $8,000 on a yearly basis.
Nike has informed Alabama they will not renegotiate the apparel deal. Alabama currently is paid $5.25M a year thru 2025. Ohio St and Texas both average around $16M a year with their deals. The current deal was signed in secret by former AD Bill Battle.
What a great win over a top big 12 team tonight. Bama looking like a legit seeet 16 / elite 8 team. Just keep winning and hitting the money balls. What a coaching performance by Nate Oats
Kalen DeBoer has zeroed in on South Alabama head coach Kane Wommack to be
@AlabamaFTBL
’s DC and a deal is in the process of being finalized, sources tell me and
@ESPNRittenberg
. Wommack was previously the DC at Indiana.
On a serious note, I likely won’t be posting for a while. I am battling a deep depression that I am having a hard time getting out of. Nothing seems to be helping.
A bit off topic but I still can’t wrap my head around colleges wanting fans to send monthly payments for players via NIL funds. It is beyond absurd.
You have athletic departments ranking in 8/9 figures in profits yet they want Mrs Suzy to give $100 a month for some player so
Serious question, was Scott Cochran the mole for UGA? For the first time since Smart has left, UGA was caught off guard with something Bama was doing (smart watches work our plan)
@BarrettSallee
Barrett has had a tough week, from calling Georgia a dynasty, to telling everyone they’d beat Bama by double digits, to campaigning hard for FSU
If anyone wants to look at bright side, when we look back a year from now, I think we will see this was the bottom. So if you want to pump some sunshine into your day it’ll only get better from this point
