They may not have made $ for fat cats & corporates, but they've changed the lives of regular ppl who'd otherwise just get priced out of their homes by tourism. Perspective.

@sonaljay8 We seriously have a bigger fish to fry. Fix things on our end first. Infrastructure, governance, high-end experiences, proper marketing. Banging on abt tourists not spending makes ppl treat visitors even more like ATMs, to the point that real SL hospitality is dead in some towns.

@DeepikaBhardwaj Chasing clout is literally his job. If you expected better from him, then check your perception. A clearer example may be Joe Rogan, an average comedian and thinker at best, but his popularity inflates many ppl's opinion of him.
