A Past President, @MichelleRuha was one of our final #ACMT2023 Bingo winners earlier today. We want to thank her again for her 14 years of service on the ACMT Board of Directors.

Look what I found in the tree in our tox fellow office. Luckily it’s one of AZ’s less threatening venomous creatures. @MedToxFellowshp

Fun facts from our tour today: no snakes ‘chase’ you. Not black mambas, not cottonmouths. Also, even if you step on a rattlesnake it’s most likely to try to escape without trying to bite you. Best not to test this though.
We had a great tour of @PhoenixHerp today! Learned so much about native and non-native venomous snakes not to mention crocodilians, non-venomous colubrids, tortoises and various other creatures. Thank you to Cale and the amazing staff for a wonderful experience.

We saw 2 baby Western Diamondbacks on our @MedToxFellowshp herping trip this week. They are so cute you just want to pick them up and play with them. Don’t do it! Why August is birthing season for mother rattlesnakes |
