I'm all for competitive sport, but it needs to be between those of similar capabilities, otherwise it's meaningless. To have males competing in what would otherwise be a female event is nonsensical. Perhaps I'm not presenting my argument clearly, but I think you get the gist.

As a youngster in North London, I and my family used to cower in the corner of our 3-up, 2-down terraced house whilst enemy aircraft droned overhead. For some reason, cowering in the corner of the room gave us a misguided feeling of being safer in case a bomb fell nearby. Scary!
