I’m the dude who was locked in a basement for 7 years making Super Mario Bros 5 in Mario Maker 2 (0G9-XN4-FNF). Also Super Mario Bros Remix (90V-9C9-3PF).
I’ve finally finished creating my Super World in Mario Maker 2 and have unofficially named it Super Mario Bros 5. I’ve been working towards this moment since 2015, trying to create a classic Mario game that plays as if Nintendo created it themselves.
There’s A Link to the Past DNA scattered throughout the overworld in Echoes of Wisdom and it makes me feel warm inside. Let’s take a quick tour, starting with the destroyed ruins of the Desert Palace.
So I urge you to dust off your copy of Super Mario Maker 2 and try out my Super World. I’ve poured lots of blood, sweat and tears into this over the past 7 years. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I have.

This Super World features 40 full courses spread across 8 worlds. 24 courses from Super Mario World, 14 from SMB3 and 2 courses from SMB. There are no courses from NSMBU or SM3DW, only the classics. So if NES/SNES 2D Mario is your jam, this game is for you.
The gameplay is all classic Mario. I’m not trying to troll you or purposely try to kill you, I’m trying to provide you with something Nintendo should’ve done already, make a full Mario game within Super Mario Maker 2, that’s fun as heck!
Here’s all 8 world maps for my Mario Maker 2 super world “Super Mario Bros 5.” Thank you to everyone who has played. If you haven’t checked it out yet, the maker ID is OG9-XN4-FNF.
I’m excited to announce my next Super Mario Maker 2 project, a recreation of the original Super Mario Bros (NES) featuring 36 courses all created in the original SMB theme spread across 8 worlds. I have unofficially called it “Super Mario Bros Remix.” (90V-9C9-3PF)
Reposting my maps. I drew in-depth maps for both the 1st and 2nd quests of The Legend of Zelda. Remember it’s dangerous to go alone, take these!!

Every time I see a nod to ALttP, brings a smile to my face. I know they did these kinda things in A Link Between Worlds, but it’s always nice to see familiar landmarks from one of my favorite games pop up.

Zelda: Four Swords Adventures for GameCube can link with 4 GBAs. What I didn’t know was that you could hook up 4 GameCubes using GameBoy Players (connected to one main GameCube) and use separate TVs instead of GBAs. Whoa!
In Super Mario Advance 2 (aka SMW for GBA), playing as Luigi slightly adjusts the gameplay.
• Luigi jumps higher & slides more (typical Luigi stuff here)
• when hitting a 10-coin box, all coins jump out at once
• fireballs bounce higher
• Yoshi spits, doesn’t swallow
Finally done with my Zelda map for the second quest. Pretty satisfied with the way it came out. I hope this encourages more players to try it out. To start the second quest, register your name as “ZELDA” on the file select screen or just beat the first quest.

I remember opening my final gift on Christmas back in 1991 and seeing this red box. I had told my mom not to get it for me just a month earlier because it cost $70. What a pleasant surprise. This game taught me that games could tell a story. I fell in love.
It has been 1 month since I published "Super Mario Bros 5" in Super Mario Maker 2. The first course Galoomba Garden has been played 53,772 times. Nearly 5000 players have beaten the entire game. I'd like to give a special thanks to everyone who has played. THANK YOU!!
New stages include MUTE CITY IV, SAND STORM I, BIG BLUE II, with SAND STORM II and Grand Prix only: Silence II added to "Hard Tracks" mode.

Here’s a good example of “screen crunch” in the GBA version of SMB2. It’s the same screenshot for each console (NES, SNES & GBA). Notice how much closer and zoomed in you are while playing the GBA version.
I converted one of those 8 game cartridge cases that I got from My Nintendo into a “Super Mario Collection” set. Made some box art and popped it in the sleeve. Came out pretty cool.
