big awakening this week in ai circles is that foundational models r quickly commoditized and its the app layer that will capture value. i think crypto ppl will eventually come to the same realization that most infra - specifically *stateless* infra - will be commoditized and its the app layer that will capture most of the value

@base is much bigger than a single protocol and a bunch of agent tokens that didn’t find PMF yet. With projects like @farcaster_xyz (leveraging decentralised social graphs) and others, building on base will yield in multiples over the long run. No single chain can scale meaningfully to meet the global demands of future agentic economy. Imagine going down atleast once a year? L2 and L3 and Appchains are the way to scale horizontally. We are launching @0xBeyondNetwork on Base. I’m sure Builders playing long term games choose infrastructure that last long reliably.🫡

OpenAI is building ai agents Anthropic is building ai agents Google is building ai agents Meta is building ai agents China is building ai agents (deepseek r1 is nuts) AI agents will be everywhere by the end of year. Permissionless blockchains can be the financial rails for agents that interact with money. It'll be fascinating to see if our space can create crypto-ai frameworks that go mainstream. I remain optimistic that we will.
