My fab ma in law over the last 2 months survived lying all night on the floor with a broken hip, surgery, re- hab & then 2 weeks in isolation with COVID. Monday she moves to a nursing home & the next stage in her journey. I'd so love to show her some best wishes when I visit 🙏

Booked for a super role for me in a smashing scene on a cool TV thing. Just been cut pre shoot various reasons. These things happen & I'm lucky I've things to go onto but ngl I'm gutted. Luv to all facing disappointment today but biggest luv to my agent. It hits them hard too 🧡

Lovely actors. If you've been asked to tape or got yourself ITR even if you don't book the job honestly that in itself is HUGE the odds are so stacked. And if you do a good job they WILL remember you. That's the thought that always keeps me going if ever I get a quiet patch 💜🧡

Actors do we really expect feedback or YES/NO on every single submission? Even big first round subs? I don't. On a recall, yes. Pencil definitely. But first round? I may sometimes vaguely think oh I wonder what's happening with whatever but generally I sub and move on 🤷♀️

Eight years ago my mum fell and hit her head & died 24 hours later on Mother's Day 😟 I still take this day to remember her tho, to celebrate her and to grieve for her. Happy Mother's Day to everyone who loves it as well as huge love to those who find it difficult 🧡🧡🧡
