2023 is unforgettable! God has been so good and it’s evident. I’m ending the year on IVs but my heart is content. And 2024 will be even better😊
Happy new year friends! Can’t wait to see the great things God has in store😆
Today I had the privilege to share about my journey on an interview with the amazing host
@kisti_robin
. Special thanks to
@bartlettdaron
for the invitation and
@UrbanTVUganda
for the opportunity.
Yesterday’s youth consultation towards the Voluntary National Review (VNR) report was a success. One thing is for sure; NO ONE should be left behind. Youth participation is therefore paramount as we look towards the 6 goals of focus for the next year.
On behalf of the Ministry of Health, I received a certificate of appreciation from the President Association of Surgeons of Uganda, Dr Frank Assimwe for the support given to the Association in their noble work of saving lives through surgery
The beauty of this ending year has been the experience of celebrating my dearest friends while witnessing the hand of God at work. God surely makes all things beautiful🥰and I look forward to witnessing that beauty in the coming year✨
Peace and security begins with individuals. Violent extremism should not be an option among the youth. Special thanks to
@eacyouthnetwork
for bringing student leaders together in this.
(Last frame for the moderators😊)
Young people occupying spaces today is securing the future because we are the future. As we inherit the world from our current leaders and elders, stewarding it as a loan from the generations after us, we appreciate platforms like
@UNAUGANDA
for the empowerment.
If we meaningfully engage with youth today, we're paving the way for a brighter future
Encounter with

Mercy champions youth involvement in health policies whereas Birungi is a law student & an advocate for digital rights.
Sickle cell disease is slowly clearing our colleagues🥹
For all those planning to conceive children, please do prior screening.
To our fallen friends, we continue to fight the battle you begun. Rest with the angels 🕯️
When you see me walking around with my weave/wig, please don’t start asking unnecessary things like “is that your hair?”…
I bought it with my money so yes please, it is very much my hair, thank you🙂
The Youth are the greatest resource in Africa. Not oil or gold. Therefore, strategies that harness their potential are paramount for the development of this continent. And so we we shall do that one day at a time.
Bushera😂😂
A very sensitive topic among Bakiga😂
We are in a Kuhingira launch and we have discussed this for 30 minutes and every passing minute we are adding 20ltrs 😂
Practical leadership is walking the talk!
Following the community engagement yesterday, UN Youth Fellows mobilized funds and donated a wheelchair to one of the members of Kalerwe. In a heartwarming moment, I had the pleasure of handing it over to Ma’am Zainab who is grateful.
Yesterday the Uganda UN Youth fellows went out to Kalerwe on a
#AUNYD24UG
campaign for youth empowerment.
Civic engagement, education, entrepreneurship and drugs are some of the major concerns for sustainable development in such communities.
While I was celebrating women achievers, my baby was campaigning. The sky was never the limit because this is now the Headgirl elect and I can’t be more proud💞
While over the counter medication is essential in meeting public health needs, abusing this poses serious health risks. Each individual is a steward in ensuring safe medicines use.
Unless you absolutely can’t, visit a doctor and get a prescription.
Erectile Dysfunction is one of the reasons men are abusing medication because it's accessible over the counter.
Dr.
@MercyMelody9
is just a vibe on set😅
She will be back soon.
Okay this is now getting serious.! Us the ladies that can’t relate….let’s gather here and pray🥲 the weapons might be prospering😂 maybe others can share tips. Let’s help each other🤲🏼
Last week,
@praivez
and I conducted an outreach amongst the youth in Kalerwe slums to address the topic of mental health. Over 30 youths participated as we develop strategies to identify, prevent and cope with mental health challenges.
Doctor:patient ratio in Uganda as of an article published in August,2020 is 1:25,000 where the recommended is 1:1000!
The Ministry of Health seems to be working in reverse. Uganda weeps😩
Praying for all Primary 7 candidates today. For those that have to walk long distances to be safe. Those that are redoing to be calm. Those that have any lack to be provided for. And ultimately for all to pass. 🙏🏼
Women Achievers Awards 2023. Key message from the LC V Vice-Chairperson, Mbarara District is that the boy child must be included in all conversations around the girl child.

One of the craziest seasons in life is planning a wedding😮💨 But for us it wasn’t very hard since we had the most amazing support system. A special shout out to our planner
@bukyanajulius2
for the seamless flow of events. Thank you again😊 and for anyone looking for a planner…..
I’m just inquiring, the ladies that dress negligibly and complain about lack of consent to take their pictures, did they get consent before appearing the way they did?
Like if something is private how about we keep it at that and not display it in public?
There’s times when the word of God is seriously rebuking you….but as children of the most high we enjoy fullness of joy. That’s what these two pictures taken at a recent church mission to Ntungamo are about.
Looking at my younger siblings’ homework and eh! We really be studying useless things. Now Monsoon winds and Vasco da Gama, grasslands in Canada, flooding rivers in Tennessee…
What other useless things did you learn in school?

In the thick of wedding prep but yo! I don’t know how people plan several weddings for themselves…and then for those who are left at the altar or the wedding is called off….I have no words.
Just reach out to any 2024 bride out there. Give them a hug🫂
The devil was cast out of heaven because of pride.
So why exactly is this whole new ‘PRIDE’ madness being plastered in our faces and shoved down our throats. I don’t under why the whole world should change because John feels like Joan and Joan feels like a shoe😏
Uganda at 60 but might as well be Uganda at 6. Because if medical doctors have to kneel and plead for salary even in the shadow of COVID and Ebola, amidst the exaltation of health and science programmes, then progress is a question and not a reality.
Why should a world that claims to advocate for freedom of speech and expression, encourage a Rainbow minority to literally impose their beliefs on others but silence Christians that speak up about their conviction?
Is the freedom for a select few?
Dear God🥹
We could really use a break from death. Life this side of heaven is already difficult🥹😭
Please protect our friends, family & loved ones and comfort us in times of grief🥹
And may the souls of all the departed rest in eternal peace🤍
