I respect your work but the universal basic "compute budget" idea is retarded. here's why: 1. government forcing people to use a single entities compute and their algorithm to take care of their basic needs after they lose their job to agi creates an insane dependency and power dynamic 2. it's compute budget is not liquid. This means people in need aren't actually guaranteed to get the means they actually what they want 3. the optimal form fitting product to spend your compute budget is likely going to a physical device or robot. competing and evolving form functions are critical. further different people with different desires will need different devices. a single compute device and spend won't adapt. 4. forcing people to be dependent on a single government owned device is super dystopian 4. UBI is the obvious answer as it takes care of people's basic needs while still ensuring their freedom
