@seatsixtyone Just goes to show the way pricing structures work along with the support certain countries give their public transport.

@seatsixtyone He used to be chairman of Southampton FC some while back , took us a while to get over that!

@henrywinter No argument with that analysis at all. It did seem to take Eddie Howe a while to settle on the right club for his mindset outside of Hampshire. I give him credit for getting it spot on with Newcastle, not to mention the "noises off" regarding the Saudi ownership.

@seatsixtyone @EuropeanSlpr Seat 61 must be the warmest seat on the 11.04 to Brussels! I have my own photograph, as, I suspect have many others. Take it as a well-deserved compliment.

@MartinSLewis Well said. We're with Octopus, and have been since they took on Co-op Energy, and their Customer Service is excellent. That seems to place them ahead of the rest. It maybe the best differentiator there is as the other elements are not under their control.

@PaulCliftonBBC @railnigel I'm waiting for you to open up, not to mention your future activities, but, I'll need to be made aware of the "vehicle" that you will use. Good luck with whatever you have planned.

@PaulCliftonBBC Paul, sad to hear that tonight was your "swansong" for BBC South Today, as described by Sally Taylor. I will miss your reports on all aspects of Transport, your precise delivery and, your lovely leather jacket. What's next?

@SjoerdNolf Lovely lady and songstress, stood the test of time. The recipient of a number of stories relative to her time with The Rolling Stones!

@Ratings_UK Enjoyed Patience but prefer Astrid : Murder In Paris. I acknowledge that the female lead in Patience is neurodivergent whereas "Astrid" isn't and researched her role. All credit to both for providing nuanced performances.

@AdamBlackmore It's almost always the same on the Cross Country trains with regular arguments about seat reservations. Way back, whichever TOC was running that franchise, occasionally had 5 coaches but it quickly became the exception. Sadly, symptomatic of our misfunctioning railways.

@Ratings_UK We don't do Streaming so it's terrestrial channels and Sky "basic" entertainment with Atlantic our goto. Can't argue with Bates v Post Office, brilliant television and it's impact went national.
