Architect, skeptic, hater of rules...Designer of Staples Center, Paul Brown Stadium, Safeco Field, Miller Park, Stadio della Roma, and future home of Everton FC
Hi Amy:
We sadly sold this house soon after the movie wrapped : (. Moved to NY. The new owner put up a fence tragically. We have these great pics and the film to remember it by thankfully.
Had a great walk-thru of Bramley Moore today! I took this picture from the very farthest seat in the stadium. I think it illustrates how incredibly intimate the building is going to feel….and how loud!

Ok...if I haven’t said it enough, I can’t tell all you Blues how much I appreciate the support and comments, I will obsess about it day and night until we build a stadium that it is the proper heir to Goodison, you have my word!

Thanks to all for the incredibly positive response to the designs so far! It is heartwarming and humbling. It is super important to get as many of you as possible to answer the survey, share your thoughts and ideas. It will be incredibly important to the process going forward!
So very sad to hear the news. Whatever your views are of the man, he loved the Club deeply and Bramley Moore would never have happened without him, full stop. He fought for the site, the design, and the hiring of an American architect. I hope in time that will be appreciated.

not long now...
A few more of the early Bramley Moore scribbles...even though I have been doing this for 30+ years it still feels magical to me that these incredibly complex structures are born from a simple sketch...
Better buckle up Blues, this South Stand is pretty damn steep! I pity the poor keeper who is going to have to defend this goal for half of every match! 😈
Incredible site walk-thru today with Colin Chong. The professionalism and quality of the work that
@laingorourke
is doing is second to none! I was smiling from start to finish! 3rd image here is the hospitality space under the South Stand looking towards the city.
Just returned London after a couple of exciting days in Liverpool! Construction is going extremely well, and one can actually start to envision the stadium on the site!! Will share pics over the next few days.

One of my favorite moments with Bill was being in his office and Sir Paul McCartney called. After the call Bill shared that he wanted
@PaulMcCartney
to perform at the opening of Bramley Moore. God I hope that happens…it would be an amazing tribute…
Had to watch that game while in the middle of an important zoom interview, kept a straight face but was rubbing my sweaty hands so hard they were about to bleed! I died when people rushed the pitch knowing how kind stoppage time has been to us over the years! FFS that was crazy!
2/2...time I will comment. For now please understand that this is my personal twitter account and believe it or not, not everything I write is a reference to Everton. I love this club and have loved the interaction.
I have learned to hold my tongue about the games, but seeing Seamus ALL OVER the pitch tonight was awe inspiring! If he had scored on that breakaway I am pretty sure the Gwladys end would have emptied on to the pitch...
The Superleague idea seems so tone deaf? All one has to do is look at how F1 struggles to grow a fan base when only 2-3 teams can compete. The excitement over Leicester City in 2016 was infectious. The world loves a Cinderella story! What a horrible idea...
Congratulations and thank you to all those

I am going to go on record that Bramley Moore will quickly gain recognition as one of the most intimidating grounds in the Premier League. Just look at the proximity to the pitch, and how close the roof is to the seating, compared to say Emirates. It will be deafening…
I couldn’t agree more with this thread. Anyone who isn’t simply awed by the opportunity to be part of such a storied club, and willing to leave it ALL on the pitch (ie Seamus) shouldn’t presume to call themselves a blue, let alone manage them.
It can't just exist to exist: you don't sell season tickets on the promise of stasis. That's especially true of Everton - the 4th most successful club in England - but it's true of others, too. Just hoping to survive is not sustainable long-term. You have to try.

Let me be clear. I am fully confident that Bramley Moore will be built. It is both right for the Club and the city. Unfortunately I am not currently engaged in the project. How that was handled is one the greatest disappointments of my career, and at the appropriate...
Beautiful, tranquil morning on Bramley Moore Dock this morning...Imagine the roar that will rock this place in just three years....deafening!....

I have tried not to comment on play but I think we should have some perspective. The PL is tough, the season is long. Drawing with 10 men isn’t great, but far from “shite” in my opinion. I am a believer in Marco and the signings..need to support, not just criticize.
Regardless of the outcome today I am so glad to see us playing with heart and grit, against very strong teams...I believe we are witnessing the “beginning of the beginning”.

Everton and Man U at 4 fucking 30 am…if I get up, we will probably lose 1-0 in stoppage time. If I sleep in, DCL will probably get a hat trick….decisions, decisions…
@ALANMYERSMEDIA
I am surprised there weren’t a million Ted Lasso suggestions to this….sigh…it’s really disappointing that we are there again. I know you guys warned me it took faith and fortitude to be an Everton fan but jeeze…
Couldn’t agree more, Passion like that is adrenaline that goes directly to the veins...it was a perfect example of how the passion of the fans, the manager, even the frickin ball boys make the difference...
The goal is to create an incredibly intimidating, seats-on-top-of-the-pitch, stadium that creates an unmatched home pitch advantage. Empty seats do not contribute to that no matter how big the stadium...

Albeit an outsider perspective, but I hope we find a Manager that sees Everton as the opportunity of a lifetime and not a “project” or stepping stone to the next job. I wonder how much of our lackluster season was the result of a Manager that wasn’t truly “all in”?
If I learned anything from this year it is that when someone says “it isn’t personal, it is just business” I probably shouldn’t have been in business with them to begin with....

On a serious note, capacity is a key part of the study in front of us. Building must be “right sized” for the club, the site, the future...bigger isn’t always better. Steepness, sound retention, closeness to the pitch all play a bigger role in creating atmosphere...
