@WalshFreedom
Not sure about the out of touch bit, Joe?
Seems to me Dems are in touch with:
Climate/environment issues
Voting rights
Healthcare/drug costs
Employment rights
Women’s rights/choice
Need for political reform
Consumer protections
Education
Racial equality
Tax reform
LGBTQ rights
@MeidasTouch
Every word of this resonates.
“Hate will only win if people like me stand by and let it happen” is a call to arms for every decent American come November.

Staging your own assassination attempt has to be one of the most preposterously inauthentic acts ever committed by a presidential candidate.
@ProjectLincoln
Praying that decent America rises up in their millions and sticks it to the Republicans and the dreadful mainstream media who have been so unbelievable complacent about the GOP’s fascist vision for America.
Elon Musk fired pro-union Tesla workers and was disciplined by the NLRB for violating workers’ right to organize.
He silences workers in his factory every day, but we’re sure he’d be a champion for free speech if he owned Twitter.
Prime-time aired admissions of lying and deception from Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Matia Bartiromo and the whole rotten crew of them might go some way to heal America…

‘Scuse the French, but it’s an effing joke what Trump was able (allowed) to get away with between the election and Biden’s inauguration. Really Wild West stuff.
“He promised a return to shared prosperity, but the benefits of Trump’s economic policies only bubbled up to the richest…”
How Trump Took the Middle Class to the Cleaners via

This is eminently sensible. It might also flush out what really motivates Manchin/Sinema. Folks need to have it spelled out the progressive measures in the
#BuildBackBetterAct
that these two are trying to block. And the reasons…
.
@SenSchumer
@SpeakerPelosi
, don’t cut ANY items in the
#BuildBackBetter
bill—just reduce the period from 10 to 5 years. Everything stays and Manchin/Sinema get the price tag closer to $2 trillion. It’s a win/win. Plus, Dems can run on keeping these popular programs in ‘22 & ‘24.

“…he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed.” Perfect 👌🏽🥂
@DWUhlfelderLaw
Is there any Code of Ethics in operation at all that people like
@GovRonDeSantis
can be held to. A Twitter ‘slap on the wrist’ for a guard dog seems a wholly inadequate outcome for insider trading.

Such a disturbing image; the quiet dignity of the black student, and the emaciated loathing of the white woman. The DNA for Trump and the MAGA movement is right there.

Congratulations on your beautiful parenting. I hope your lovely son is happy, and still playing with whomsoever he wishes 💛
@rbchessi
@ethanclynne
Exactly so. Which makes it doubly essential for every Dem voter to do their bit to counter whatever Republican suppression tactics pertain in their State. There is simply no excuse for ‘sitting one out’.

What

and her team has achieved should be a model replicated across every state in America. It’s phenomenal, and so necessary👌🏽
BREAKING: Senate Republicans just blocked legislation that would enshrine a federal right to access contraception.
They’re telling you with their ACTIONS what they plan to do if they gain power.
They’re coming for our birth control.

Is Truth Social another of Trump’s bungled businesses?
@carbdiem
Love this,
@carbdiem
. And you’re absolutely right. Somehow, many Americans have been convinced that benefits that improve their lives are communist, and they actually strive (and vote) to deny themselves benefits and a quality of life Europeans take for granted.
@davidmweissman
It’s painful how insipid many US interviewers are when confronted by a GOP bully boy (or girl). Weirdly deferential in a way that would make British viewers cringe.
Today’s SCOTUS in the words of James Dannenberg: “…wantonly flouts established precedent… undermines basic freedoms by hypocritically weaponizing others… sanctions bigotry and discrimination… elevates the grossest forms of political bribery…”
That Republicans are unwilling even to have an adult conversation about gun ownership and responsibility should send a shiver down the spine of decent America. The GOP is beyond redemption.
@nathaliejacoby1
It can be done, Nathalie. But it’s a radical change of attitude that’s required. Almost a culture change. But certainly feasible with the right leadership.
