After 6 years, I defended my PhD! It was hard but luckily I had a lot of support from @GlynHowatson @goodall_stuart @nicos199 @campbellmenz @tejjjyy @eis2win and @BritishCycling along the way. Most of all thank you to the riders. Without whom none of this would’ve been possible.

🚨WR ATTEMPT🚨 @JeffreyHoogland will be attempting to break 1000m TT WR - the oldest record in track cycling - on Oct 31st in Mexico. He has never lost an international 1km TT and only rider to go sub-58s (twice) at sea level. Now, he has the chance to become the WR holder.

The @CyclingWorlds concluded for the @KNWU track team. We won 4 x 🥇 and 1 x 🥈 and coming second in the medals table despite having one of the smallest budgets. All the golds were special but fair to say I really enjoyed the men regaining their Team Sprint title 🌈

😂😂😂 10.9s for 100m is what you expect a decent county level sprinter to do…and the worlds fastest women do 10.6s…from a stationary start. The time Mbappe is said to be doing is the 100m equivalent of a country mile behind Bolt’s worst times let alone WR!.
