I have my emergency sub credential and friends $200 still isn’t enough to get me in a classroom right now. I got added to some anti mask parent groups on accident and it scared me.
The Chula Vista Elementary School District admin held an emergency meeting to increase pay for substitute teachers.
The district increased pay for short-term subs from $122 to $200/day. For long-term substitutes, the pay went from $180 to $283/day

Milk died last night. Under my bedroom window. He came to us as a rescue, and it took months to earn his trust. It was worth it. He was one of the hardest working, kindest dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure. Rest well sweet boy, you are loved.
