Like so many in Ottawa my family is experiencing the pain of unreliable OC Transpo service. Tonight the 74 from Algonquin College was cancelled. 1.5 hours before the next bus - hard on students studying for exams. Mom to the rescue, again. Sigh @OC_Transpo @ottawacity

You are spreading lies. Barrhaven is home to more immigrants than other wards, we are welcoming. Barrhaven residents simply reject the idea we put migrants in tents in a community that doesn’t have social services or other essentials for newcomers.
@MeehanCarolAnne Nonsense! They want to keep refugees out of their area because they are anti-homeless. The ward councillor has been fearmongering, saying they have to protect schools and keep kids safe. Racism combined with NIMBYism is not a good look!

Big crowd in Barrhaven protesting talk of locating 2 "sprung structures" in the suburban community to house migrants. They want permanent homes, not tents. Residents are upset with what they feel is a lack of transparency in the process.

SHOCKING. ArriveScam Contractor Dalian Enterprises got over $100 million of taxpayers’ dollars because they got identified as an Indigenous business. BUT, they have now been quietly removed from the Indigenous business list. Liberal Minster Patty Hajdu refuses to say why. So, is Dalian an Indigenous company or not? If they are not, then will they be forced to return the money?

I was wondering how the absence of so many operators and missed trips could NOT affect test results.
Not enough operators may not be a technical problem with the LRT system, but it’s a big factor in the reliability of that system. #ottnews
