Very intelligible answers here considering diabetes mellitus and hypertension are sharing the tie. According to the study published by the MSD manual in August of 2023, diabetes nephropathy is the most common cause of CKD in the United States. This is followed by hypertensive nephrosclerosis. So the answer in the poll is Diabetes Mellitus as it can cause a complication of diabetes nephropathy.

For option C, 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 is an incorrect term, and does not exist in medical terminology. It's instead 𝐈𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 which is in itself not an inflammatory condition but a functional disorder of the GIT.
