In today's weekly session, the Cabinet has given its approval to the recommendation presented by the Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development regarding the appointment of the Director General of the Somali National Bureau of Statistics. Dr. Abdisalam Abdirahman Mohamed has been appointed to this pivotal role, underscoring the government's continued efforts to enhance its statistical and analytical capabilities.

…that has been accomplished so far. Second, political inclusivity is indispensable in a fragile context like Somalia. Therefore, it is better to attempt to resolve the essential national issues through political processes rather than doing it unilaterally or through coercion.
