Change is possible! largest most notorious deepfake sexual abuse website has blocked access to UK users. This follows announcement this week to criminalise creation as well as sharing. This has always been my main justification for using the criminal law

Mainstream porn includes actors aged 18+ portrayed as very young girls. This is not unlawful, yet if the same material was AI generated, it would be illegal. UK law is out of step with best practice in other countries that recognise this material legitimises and normalises CSA
