outbreak affected much of the Southern Plains. This large wedge occurred near Binger, OK. Watch near the end of the video (yellow circle) as a grain elevator is destroyed and its contents are pulled into the tornado.

I was a senior in high school in Norman on May 3, 1999. My mom was a teacher in Moore. I'd always been interested in tornadoes, but that day changed everything. We were lucky to not be affected ourselves, and seeing the devastation firsthand is something I'll never forget.
