Last week, the Provost's Office and the McBee Institute of Higher Education co-hosted Phillip J. Hanlon, Dartmouth Trustee Professor of Mathematics and President Emeritus of Dartmouth, for a conversation on the future of higher education followed by an open Q & A session.

Last Friday, Dr. Jennifer Blaney and Dr. Meseret Hailu gave presentations at the National Academy of Education (NAEd) Fall Retreat in Washington, D.C. With their presentations during the Fellows Forum, Blaney and Hailu completed their 2023 NAEd/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellowship.

@jennifer_blaney, Associate Professor of Higher Education, was recently awarded two @NSF Awards – the CAREER Award and the EDU Core Research (ECR) Award, which combined are valued at over $2 million. Read more:

Prof. @TimothyRCain has been selected to participate in the @ACPA / @ASHEoffice Presidential Symposium on October 11. During the symposium, Cain will contextualize higher education's past, present, and future by discussing free speech, activism, and anti-DEI legislation.
