“Wow you finished harvest early, you must be enjoying the downtime.” “Nah, I’ve got 800 calves to wean, weigh, vaccinate, draft and market. Grain harvest was just the warm up.” Love my cows but would appreciate it if they understood how weekends and public holidays work.

@RidleyNewt Get back to me when you have a baby or toddler get bitten and you are over an hour from medical assistance. Out in the paddocks there fine. They have no place inside the house yard.

@BradMclean90 Yep had 800 a couple years ago, was close to a write off. Having said that this year has and still will be a shit mix for cattle feed.

@BarryGr66 When you farm as close to the big blue as I do getting anything dry without a drier is cause for celebration.

@therealfarmagro Green sappys in the runlines are give a few headaches otherwise considering we are working on 330mm for the year we are very happy.
