@therealltakeen @geekedattrading @philip_dath A "hot wallet" is always connected to the internet. A signing device (cold wallet as you called it) is not. You can sign a transaction without being connected to the internet. You only need internet to BROADCAST the transaction

@therealltakeen @geekedattrading @philip_dath You only need internet to broadcast your transaction.... so yes, you can do an airgapped transaction, where your seedphrase (keys) are never connected to the internet

@therealltakeen @geekedattrading @philip_dath I think that you should download sparrow desktop wallet, then connect your ledger signing device.... Then learn how a transaction works. Then when sparrow asks you if you want to broadcast the transaction, then you can realize.... that is the ONLY part that needs internet.
