Toxic relationships aren't always with people. If you hate your job, fantasize about leaving it. Add a job search to your daily routine, two if necessary. Imagine yourself somewhere else. Respected for the work. Not taken for granted. Then, when the time comes, leave.

Your kids are going to push you away. It's natural. Most of us did it to our parents. That's how they become the person they'll be, not the one you're trying to make them. Parenting is to still stand there when they stop pushing.

If you know someone who's writing a book, nothing will mean more to them than the simple question "How's it coming along?" Except maybe actually reading it.

On those days the right words won't come, just get the story down. Sparse sentences. Simple dialogue. Put the plot points into words you can then revise when your brain decides to cooperate. #WritingCommunity

If movie/TV producers like money, they might want to look into a "Terminator year 1" project that shows exactly how AI destroyed the world. If done right (i.e., not another "robot chases John Connor" plot), they might just revive the franchise.
