Be sure to be proactive in your recruitment. Take ALL calls, fill out questionnaires, send schedules, etc. anything that’ll help with your recruitment. Also it’s great to have all these offers, but you can only pick ONE school. Find what fits. Ask tough questions.

Be sure to answer that text/call/email from coaches, especially if they have interest in you. Nothing wrong with answering and talking. It’s your future! The moment you don’t at least return those calls/messages then that interest is gone.

Advice to recruits
You’re going to have to pay for something in College. Everyone wants everything for free, but at the end of the day you can’t bank on athletics to pay for EVERYTHING! Look into scholarships, get the GPA and grades up, look into grants at the school, FASFA.

Biggest thing I’ve seen from players is the fact that they’re COMPETING!! Giving it their all out there! Love seeing that. That’s what we as college coaches are looking for.

PSA: Be sure to find a place that 1- Fits what you’re looking for and 2- That not only wants you, but also has your best interests both on and off the floor. Great to have multiple offers, but find a place that values YOU!

Your time is here! Make sure you’re taking the right steps towards your recruitment. Make sure your grades are right, fill out questionnaires, reach out to coaches, prepare to attending camps, etc! The process can go however YOU want it to.

There’s JUCO’s, DII/DIII/NAIA, Small schools, even Developmental/JV rosters at college that exist. You’re going to HAVE to pay something so keep that in mind too. However opportunities are there!

Need to correct you there. USC got hit with sanctions a year BEFORE the 10 win season.
Lane Kiffin won 10 games in Year 2 at USC - then the program got hit with NCAA crippling sanctions
He now won 10 games in Year 2 at Ole Miss, in the toughest division in CFB.
The idea that anyone considers him anything other than one of the best coaches in CFB is laughable
