Because people keep asking about my momโs dress: 1. My mother is the most BEAUTIFUL woman in the world, no matter the color she wears 2. She didnโt plan to come to the game, and only landed in Israel 1 hour before. It was a last minute decision, so she couldnโt prepare with the proper colors 3. We did some damage control in the moment, removed the blue jacket and gave her a red scarf๐ 4. She has learned her lesson and has vouched not to repeat the same mistake 5. And donโt forget the custom Hapoel dress! That will become the new standard Yalla, now time to focus on Valenciaโฆ

Through all the testimonies from his family and friends, videos that showcased his vibrant personality, and the advocacy and relentless fight spearheaded by his brave parents and sisters which highlighted the amazing person he was, I felt like I knew Hersh for years, without ever having met him. I am grieving with his family, along with the families of Eden, Ori, Carmel, Almog, and Alex. These 6 innocent, beautiful souls shouldnโt have had their journeys end this way. May we continue to write their stories in our continued fight against evil. Hapoel will be doing something significant to honor Hersh and his legacy as a superfan of the club. In the meantime, all anyone can do is pray for his family (and all the other families) and send them all the love and support as possible. #RIPHersh #RIPEden #RIPOri #RIPCarmel #RIPAlmog #RIPAlex #BRINGTHEMHOMENOW

I feel compelled to share my thoughts on LeBronโs behavior in the video below. It struck a chord with me, and hereโs why: Growing up, my parents were steadfast in instilling a core set of values in my older brother, Adam, and me. One of these values, rooted in the Bible, is the Golden Rule: Love your neighbor as yourself. It's a simple and understandable principle, yet difficult for many to practice. My parents emphasized this value not just as a general life lesson, but particularly because we were often exposed to high-status individuals from a young age. They wanted us to remember that people, regardless of their statusโwhether they are famous athletes, CEOs, or even the President of a countryโshould be respected for their character, not their position or achievements. To illustrate this lesson, my parents often shared the following story: Some time between 15-20 years ago, Michael Jackson was in Las Vegas for a concert. This was a few years after my parents had opened The Venetian in Las Vegas. Impressed by the grandeur of the property, Michael requested a private tour, which my parents, as the developers, were honored to provide him personally. During the tour, they found themselves in the mall section of the hotel and they entered a random store. After 30 to 40 minutes of browsing, word spread that Michael Jackson was inside, and a crowd of hundreds of fans had gathered outside the store to see him. Concerned for Michaelโs safety and privacy, my father suggested that they all exit through the โback of the houseโ, a set of hallways reserved for employees which was shielded from the public eye. However, Michael declined, stating that without those fans waiting outside, he wouldnโt be the famous and successful Michael Jackson. He then spent the next few hours taking pictures and signing autographs for hundreds of people. This story has always resonated with me. It taught me to treat everyone with respect, regardless of their status. It also taught me that being a celebrity doesnโt automatically make someone a good personโcharacter matters more than fame. Finally, it reinforced the idea that achievements should not overshadow the values a person holds. When I think about LeBron, I recognize that he is probably one of the most approached individuals in the world. I understand that living in the spotlight can be overwhelming, and that constantly being asked for autographs or photos can be exhausting. However, that doesnโt excuse disrespectful behavior. Fans idolize him, they buy his jerseys, shoes, and merchandise, and they ultimately pay to watch him play. Without these fans, he wouldnโt be King Jamesโhe would be just another random person. The way he humiliated that young fan was unacceptable. I can imagine that this child, once an admirer, now feels heartbroken and disillusioned. If it were me, I know I would feel the same. And I hate to say it, but it isnโt the first time Iโve seen this behavior from him. Be better LeBron

A lot of people are speculating on decisions that have already been made. To the fans, I promise you that when decisions are final, you will hear it directly from the club (or from me). And most importantly, know that decisions are taken with only one consideration in mind - what is best for Hapoel Jerusalem. Speak soon๐

Thanks to the best fanbase in the world for the unbelievable support throughout this whole season. As a first full season for me, there were plenty of ups and downs, happy and sad moments, but most importantly there were many lessons learned. So proud of this team and organization for what we have accomplished together in only 1 year. I canโt thank everyone enough, all of the players, coaches, staff, management, and employees for giving it their all this year both on and off the court. The summer will provide us some time to look in the mirror and make the respective changes we need. There will be some decisions and changes that will need to be made, but for now we reminisce on the season and be grateful for what we have accomplished. Thanks again to the best fans in the world. Weโll be back stronger next year, I promise. YALLA HAPOELโค๏ธ๐ค

The moment that cemented my desire to purchase the team was the cup final last year against Maccabi in the Arena where I sat courtside in disguise. That day ended in immense joy and celebration. A year and some change later, the same game has arrived with a whole new meaning and perspective. Win or lose today, this organization is so special and Iโm beyond proud and excited for whatโs ahead of us, both tonight and for years to come. And one more thing - thanks to the relevant parties for ultimately giving us the approval to bring in Hershโs sign. This game is for him and all the other hostages that are still being held in captivity. YALLA HAPOEL and #BRINGTHEMALLHOMENOW โค๏ธ๐ค
