Officials are reminding ppl to be aware wild animals are fleeing fires, and they may show up in your neighborhoods. PLEASE bring domestic animals in to let wild ones pass. Put out water for them. They're scared, exhausted, & have lost their homes. Here are some that were rescued.

THANK YOU, FIREFIGHTERS! We're told, "At 936am on Sunday February 2nd, Drexel Heights Fire District crews were dispatched for a report of a structure fire. The arriving engine company found a building with flames coming from the attic space and exterior wall. The crew was informed that this building housed numerous reptiles. The engine company quickly deployed hose lines and extinguished the fire while additional arriving crews rescued the animals. There was extensive damage to the structure, but crews were able to rescue and save over 45+ animals with only a few animals succumbing to injuries. No civilians or firefighters were injured. This was another great job with crews from Drexel Heights Fire District, Pascua Pueblo Fire Dept., Tohono O’ Odham Fire Dept., Santa Rita Fire District, and Pima County Sheriff Office."

SAD UPDATE: The victim, Anisa Moreno’s family tells me she has been taken off the ventilator and has passed away. Two lives lost since she was pregnant. Heartbreaking.💔
JUST IN: A pregnant mother of 3 is on life support after she was shot in the back of the head. Bariki Hopkins is charged with two counts of Domestic Violence/Attempted Second Degree Murder. According to the interim complaint, he tried to blame the shooting on "an unknown male" who entered the home. Police say there was no evidence for that and Hopkins is being held at the Pima County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.

Bobby Hurley refused to shake hands with Tommy Lloyd or Arizona and dismissed him with a wave. Almost no ASU players interacted with Arizona after the game.

@TucLibtarian89 Lol the potato reference is my fave to use! Unfortunately since they do not release mugshots anymore, we have to make do and take screenshots from their initial court appearance. The video from those is very low-quality.

I'm told a long-time Tucson resident was among those killed in this week's horrific plane crash. Dustin Miller was a passenger on flight 5342 from Wichita to Washington, DC on a work trip. He lived and worked in Tucson and Phoenix up until last year to move closer to his parents back in Kansas. We received a statement from his sister saying, "I speak for my family when I say Dustin was the funniest guy in the room, he was also the most generous and loving. He had a way of making people feel at home in his presence. He wasn't just a brother or a son, he was also each of our best friend. We all had a unique and special bond with him. He would do anything for the people he loved, and for people he didn't even know so well. My brother loved to travel, camp, fish, and man could he smoke meats. He enjoyed BBQing for others and enjoyed spending time with people, he would want everyone that knew him to keep it light. He would be so moved by the outpouring of love and support from people right now, helping us all navigate this tragedy. He was a HUGE chiefs fan so he would want us to watch the Super Bowl game and root for the Chiefs. He was looking forward to that game! He loved us, he would want us all to love each other and focus on what's important, Family. My heart goes out to every family member of this tragedy, it does hurt so bad. Kristen Miller Zahn"
