Alan Brazil's behaviour highlights exactly what women have been fighting for years, to have their voices heard. Dismissing the growth of the women's game is just blatant ignorance from someone who has the voice and platform to drive change. Do better.

@MattFutsalFejos But we have willing expertise (high level) within our futsal community. We can’t wait for FA. Time flies on, no change. A top level international team being here again (🇧🇷23) was an an unmissable opportunity. Highlights in match time? TikTok ? Learn from 🇪🇸 also try 2 lead 🌍?

Apologies not sure I understand your answer sorry but thought you meant it was a unique moment to establish a culture (like Spain’s highlights) You identified it and I think it’s essential to engagement and visibility. There is young talent in the community- they have offered to support👍.

Thanks, to be clear if our great and healthily chatty @ChilternFutsal players are reading this, I was offering an answer not asking a question. I’ll put your idea to them but they are way too clever to think I have any right of control. They know I’m lucky they are there 🙂 #letthemchat #chatandplay
@MaryPacitti One option Mary is to schedule unofficial "chat" time into the training. Once they have had say 10 mins chat and get ready time use a whistle to let them know its time to focus and get ready for training. Try it

Answers are great. I was going to chip in but it’s all said well below.. ⬇️ - I’m guessing it’s a mix of friends they don’t see all day so talking and liking each other is likely 50% of why they come back. Try futsal too ? Speed needs focus so chatting is harder ! Don’t stop !

I understand being scared to speak out. But if you see your 16 y.o daughter playing against a team full of male players will it be too late to help? Upholding the rights of a few to the detriment of 1/2 the population is not equitable, safe or logical. Women of @fa pls help. New category needed.
The @FA have now told two separate young women they are not allowed to say “that’s a man” directly to a cheating, lying man pretending to be a woman on the opposite team. If they do say “that man is a fucking man actually ref” - as women absolutely should be able to say - then THEY will be banned from their own game and the one with the bollocks gets to laugh and punish them. If you say you don’t know anything about this I think you’re either lying or you don’t care. Like the cowardly @FA Speak up. Includes you @GaryLineker @IanWright0 @Lionesses …. None of you should be staying quiet! Bloody cowards.

Coaching Futsal like Football? Big mistake! 🚫⚽️👇🏼 Futsal is not the same sport as Football. Futsal demands quicker decisions, more technical skill and different tactics due to it’s smaller field(court) and fewer players. To coach Futsal effectively: - Emphasize Technical Skills: Futsal is all about technical skills and trying to outplay the opponent; encourage players to keep/stay on the ball and use more touches when needed. - Promote Creativity: With less space, creativity in passing and movement is key. Encourage players to think outside the box. - Speed of Play: Futsal's game pace is faster; practices should focus on quick decision-making. - Defensive Tactics: Teach zonal marking and man-to-man; the game's dynamics require it. In man-to-man marking, being beaten 1v1 can leave your team at a numerical disadvantage. Zonal marking minimizes this risk because even if one player is beaten, others are positioned to cover the space. - Goalkeeper Involvement: Unlike Football, Futsal GKs can play outfield; integrate them more into play. Let's respect the uniqueness of Futsal to nurture better, more adaptable players! #Futsal #FutsalCoaches #FutsalCoaching
