The Mwea Irrigation Scheme is an integral part of rice farming in Mwea Constituency, and provides support to local farmers to ensure they thrive. This morning, I had a meeting with a team from Mwea Irrigation Scheme led by the Manager Engineer Dennis Okinyi, and Engineer Munene Kinoti, who oversees the infrastructural works at the scheme. We had a productive conversation where they provided valuable insights into the progress of rice farming in Mwea and the key challenges facing farmers. We explored solutions we can adopt to ensure Mwea farmers receive the necessary support to enhance their yields and ultimately boost their living standards. #NyoroshaMwea #MweaKwanza

Today marked the conclusion of the ward-level matches in Season 2, paving the way for a transition to the constituency level.
